YOUR INVESTMENT in Dharini is not only a contribution to our film, but also an investment in our futures as successful filmmakers. This is a critical moment in our careers, when your support can have an enormous impact. In addition to grants awarded by AFI, we must raise approximately $37,000 to fully realize this production.

CONTRIBUTIONS can be made by check or money order, credit card, transfer of US stocks or bonds, or matching funds through corporations or companies of employment. Along with financial support, we are also seeking in-kind donations of goods and services or professional assistance in your field or specialty.

The American Film Institute is a non-profit, educational institution, which has tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. All donations to an AFI thesis film are tax deductible to the extent allowed by US law, under Section 170 of the tax code. All contributors will receive a letter from the American Film Institute acknowledging their donations.
